BL4 Project Takeda, Cray, Co. Wicklow
Screwpile Ireland installed helical piles at Takeda Bray as part of the BL4 project. Due to the highly sensitive location of the work, helical piles were installed to eliminate vibration. In addition, the torque drive was powered using an electrical excavator to eliminate fumes in the factory. Holes were cut out in the floor and two double helix piles installed at each pilecap. The work was completed in 5 working days.
